Waku Nakazawa, Tenor

Waku Nakazawa was born in Tokyo and graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance at Kunitachi College of Music in Japan.

In 2008, he graduated with his “2nd Diplom” with distinction in Voice performance at Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium in Feldkirch, Austria. He continued studying “Master Opera and Musical Theatre” and “Master Lied and Oratorio” at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, Austria.

During his study, Waku performed “2nd Jude” of “Salome” (R. Strauss), “Arnarta” of “L'incoronazione di Poppea” (C. Monteverdi), ”Gran Sacerdote" of “Idomeneo” (W. A. Mozart), “Lensky” of “Eugene Onegin” (P. Tchaikovsky) and more.

Since 2009 he performed at Oper im Berg Festival. He sang “Tamino”, “Monostatos”, “1st armoured man” in “The Magic Flute”, “Belmonte” of “The Abduction from the Seraglio” (W. A. Mozart) and more. In 2011, he won the “Scholarship prize” at the singing competition “Grandi Voci” in Salzburg.

Waku was invited as a guest soloist for “Contino Belfiore” of “La finta giardiniera” (W. A. Mozart) in Salzburg and “Sempronio” of “The Apothecary” (J. Haydn) in Keszthely, Hungary.

Waku sang also sacred music for example “The Creation” (J. Haydn), “Requiem” (W. A. Mozart), “Te deum” (A. Bruckner), “Messa di gloria” (G. Puccini). Lied and song cycles such as “To the distant beloved” (L. v. Beethoven), “Winter Journey” (F. Schubert), “A Poet's Love” (R. Schumann).

Waku sang as a guest soloist with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Alfonso Scarano in July 2022.

As a conductor, Waku debuted his first opera in 2014 with “The Magic Flute” at Oper im Berg Festival (Austria) and in the year 2015 at Opera Festival Amerang Castle (Germany) and Skive Opera Festival (Denmark). Within a couple of years, he conducted many important opera repertoires; “La Traviata”, “Rigoletto”, “Il Trovatore”(G. Verdi), “Lucia di Lammermoor” (G. Donizetti), “Pagliacci” (R. Leoncacvallo), “Cavalleria Rusticana” (P. Mascagni), “I Puritani” (V. Bellini), “Barbiere di Siviglia” (G. Rossini), “Der Sonnenkreis” (J. Jacobsen). As well as musicals "Zum Sterben schön" (M. Schubring), Austrian premiere by Mus-en, and “Im weißen Rößl (The White Horse Inn)” (R. Benatzky).

Waku Nakazawa is known as “Conductenor“, especially for “The Magic Flute”, which he conducted and sang Monostatos at the same time already for 60 performances.

Pin Sasinee Aswajesdakul, Soprano

Sasinee was born in 1994 in Bangkok, Thailand. She is graduated on her Masters Degree with Excellent (Auszeichnung) in Opera Performance with Uni. Prof. KS Edith Lienbacher and Prof. Helen Malkovsky from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria.

Sasinee has also participated in numerous voice master classes, given concerts, and several national and international competitions throughout the country, Austria, Germany, England, China, Japan, and Thailand.

In October 2018, she won 2nd Prize in the Vocal Music Opera Course of the 19th Osaka International Music Competition in Osaka, Japan. December 2018, Sasinee was one of the choosen singers from the University to participate the Masterclass with KS Krassimira Stoyanova which took place in Schlosstheater Schönbrunn in Vienna, Austria. In June 2019, she was invited to performed as “Micaela” from Carmen with Sichuan Symphony Orchestra in Chengdu, China.

Sasinee performed as a soloist in Thailand’s Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) at the New Year’s Concert, as “Frasquita” in TPO’s Carmen in Concert Formal, soloist in the fourth part of the Mahler’s Symphony. She has performed “Adele” from Die Fledermaus in 2013. At the end of 2017, she was honorably invited to perform in Schlosstheater Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna to celebrate the birthday of H.M., the beloved King of Thailand.

Moreover, she continually appears on stage, she performed as “Musetta”from La Boheme and “Zerlina” from Don Giovanni and as “Carolina” from Il Matrimonio Segreto at the University of Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria. Latest, she performed as "Adina" from L'elisir d'amore at BACC, Bangkok, Thailand.

Rasikamon Siyapong, Piano

One of the most sought-after collaborative pianists and chamber musicians in Thailand, Rasikamon Siyapong has performed extensively with vocalists and instrumentalists throughout Europe and Asia. As a pedagogue, she rejoined the faculty of Mahidol University in 2019 and also serves as a collaborative pianist. A regular performer of many festivals and competitions, she has performed on stages in the 4th Jean-Marie Londeix competition, the 4th and 6th Beethoven Competition for String Instruments in Bangkok, Summer Festival for String Instruments and Chamber Music in Pelion and Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy. She has also collaborated with leading international vocalists and given concerts in various European cities such as Munich, Graz, Vienna, Salzburg, Myslenice, Athens, Maribor and Lovran. Her performance with soprano, Tung Lee was broadcasted through the program “Das Ö1 Konzert” on Austrian Radio in 2018.

No stranger to the field of modern music, Rasikamon performs frequently at Thailand International Composition Festival. She is a member of Contemporary Enclave, a Bangkok-based ensemble that aims to advocate contemporary music. She also appeared in „ Kaleidoskopder Zukunft in Wort und Ton“ in Badausseer Gespräche in 2018.

In 2014, she graduated from the College of Music, Mahidol University and majored in piano performance with first-class honours. She was a recipient of a scholarship within the framework of ASEA-Uninet and partaking in her studies at Mozarteum University as an exchange student in 2014. In the Summer of 2019, she completed her Master's Degree in vocal-accompaniment at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria under the tutelage of Ao. Univ. Prof. Mag. art. Stacey Bartsch and Julius Drake. During her study in Graz, she was appointed as “Studentische Mitarbeiterin” and played in a class of Prof. Univ.Prof. Mag.art. Dr.phil. Ulf Bästlein.

Visanee Vongvirulh, Violin

Visanee Vongvirulh is a violin instructor at the College of Music, Mahidol University and also a member of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra.

She won 1st Prize at the 4th Beethoven Competition in Thailand for Young String Players in 2010 and was invited to perform at the Beethovenfest in Bonn, Germany.

In 2012, Visanee graduated with a bachelor’s degree (First Class Honors) in Music Performance (Violin) from the College of Music, Mahidol University, Thailand. Between the years 2012-2013, she was awarded a 9 Month Classical Music Training Scholarship from ASEA UNINET, and from 2014 to 2021, she received a scholarship from the Royal Thai Government for further studies in Austria. Visanee graduated with her second bachelor’s degree, and master’s degree in Instrument Pedagogy (Violin) at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg.

While living in Austria, Visanee performed very actively as a violinist and orchestral musician in various symphony orchestras and opera productions. such as the Austrian Festival Symphony Orchestra (Austria), Sinfonietta da Camerata Salzburg (Austria), Immling Festival Orchestra (Germany), Philharmonie Salzburg (Austria), Kinderfestspiel (Austria), Skive Opera Festival Orchestra (Denmark), Opernfestspiele Schloss Amerang (Germany) and Oper im Berg Festival Orchestra (Austria) and more.

In 2022 Visanee is the producer of a specially adapted production of La Bohème for Arts & Nature Circle Musici Series II at Terra, and Agalin Secret Garden in Chiangmai, Thailand.

Apart from becoming a full-time Violin Instructor at the College of Music, Mahidol University, Visanee is also a member of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and gives private violin lessons at her own “Visanee Violin Studio” in Salaya, Nakhon Pathom.
